He other little piece of software I found this weekend is a true Gem as far as I am concerned: IWOW™ has several presets and the ability to create your own settings as well. But I'm sure I'm gonna have to pay for the license. The one I seem to have settled on in the reasonable priced ($30) iWOW™ plug-in from SRS labs. But there are a couple of solutions out there. I was quite surprised to find there isn't that much out there for this problem. Google to the rescue! There is no way I was the only one. So I finally got around to looking for some sort of add-in for iTunes. It was just enough ' Off' to be an annoyance. But otherwise it just seems to be off just a little. Sound is fine when piped out to a stereo via Airtunes or in headphones. For music, (games or movies, or other video seems to be fine) from either the teensy onboard speakers. Ince I got my MacBookPro, I've had some issues with sound quality. Ound another couple of gems this weekend too.īoth of these are iTunes related pieces of software. TexasT's rates FF3 at a solid TTTT's out of 5. Or maybe it is just because I haven't loaded the new FF up with a pile of extensions. Supposed to not be such a resource (read: memory) hog as it was. Some, I am still thinking, 'WTF'?ĭefinitely loads a little faster. Some things are better than the old version. Was able to find either updated versions or substitutes for most of the extensions I was using on the old version of FireFox. Don't ask!įF3 seems to be up and running stable. After a couple of glitches, including a repeated nag from 1Password to upgrade and a failed install of an add-on from some fella in China.Seems 1Password and said other extension had issues with one another. But from what I’ve read on the forums, it may be a far stretch as yet. Just waiting for an account approval from their forum.īut it now supports LJ, and Blogger on which I have multiple accounts. Not sure yet about Wordpress as I haven’t had a chance to test that yet. I’ll post a question or two in the Mariner Software forums and probably get some snarky answer that makes me feel like a total noob. I figure it must be some arcane something or other that I’m missing. If I convert the entry back into rich text, the entry displays the picture. If I paste the link into an entry and then convert it to plain text LJ displays the picture. Mac-Journal tends to see only partials of the standard link for photos from flickr. However I have discovered that these three don’t play well together. But the changes they’ve made in release 5 have got me rethinking my strategy. Stopped using it because I didn’t care much for the formatting constraints. Had a license for MacJournal for a number of years now. So apparently Mac-Journal and livejournal and flickr do not play nice together.
